Dwolla was a popular service that allowed U.S. residents to both send and receive USD’s to and from MtGox. The excuse was that MtGox had failed to register in keeping with the US Treasury’s anti-money laundering requirements.”
The last time people tried to roll out a new currency was during the Confederacy.
Anyone seriously think that the Federal Reserve would let rival currency take hold. Especially a currency they can’t collect rent on?
